In Memoriam Ernst Zundel By craft they brought you down, but not your name, Those adversaries from the dark; so you were kept Out of the public ring. Most talk of you was swept Into the media limbo by corrupt and dirty game. Your body cabined, not your soul, to others’ shame, You sturdily lived on; no fruitless tears were wept. A gnashing of teeth elsewhere, but your spirit leapt Higher still and their malice wrote you into fame. Like Heidegger, you accepted fate without demur, In the Black Forest countryside quietly, well, Working still to pass on stories that were Worth suffering for about enemies most fell. Now is the time for Parsifal himself to manifest And guide you to Montsalvat and your fellow-blest. by NIGEL JACKSON 8th August 2017
Ernst Zündel (above, right), with his attorney, Dr. Herbert Schaller, March 1, 2010, just moments after he emerged from Mannheim prison for the first time in five years.
Ernst Zündel died of heart failure on August 5 at his ancestral home in the Black Forest region of southwestern Germany, near Pforzheim, one day before the anniversary of the atomic holocaust in the city of Hiroshima, Japan. He was 78. He passed away seven years and five months after having served seven years in confinement in Canadian and German prisons for thought crimes committed as a publisher, broadcaster and protestor. To make the inquisition against this German human rights activist palatable to the public, his “crime” is monotonously described as “inciting hatred for years with anti-Semitic activities.” Read further here: https://revisionistreview.blogspot.com.au/2017/08/ernst-zundel-lover-not-hater.html
It is 7pm on a cold, still night in the city which boasts “100% Green Energy”. Thousands of electric cars are plugged into chargers; electric lights, heaters and TVs are running; electric stoves are cooking dinner, electric trains and lifts are moving late commuters and early revellers, and the pubs and clubs are busy.
The hills bristle with turbines, but there is no wind and not one is turning. Every roof is covered with solar panels, but there is no sunshine and the panels are fast asleep. The green city is facing peak electricity demand . . . on batteries. But for several days, clouds have shaded the solar panels and there has been no wind to turn the turbines - the battalions of batteries are running out of juice. One by one they drop out. The street lights fade and the city goes dark.
There is a heavy ideological content, often accompanied by financial incentive, in the program for moving toward so-called “Green” modes of transportation. These involve costs which generally are not openly publicized or often not even considered by some of these enthusiasts and/or demagogues, and freedom of choice in movement is usually a victim of these centrist programs which typically include increasingly exclusive schemes for mass transport by prescribed conditions and routes.
I believe that there is good reason to suspect that especially militant proponents of such schemes are at least as motivated by envy and hatred of human freedom as they are about responsible use of the earth’s resources. They probably feel empowered to the extent that they are able to control the actions of other citizens. This is the “Will-to-Power” in action and manifests as domination and control by intimidation through rampant legalism inspired by equalitarian dogma and which goes far beyond realistic practical considerations of necessity and provides a weapon for ideological tyrants who conjure apocalyptic visions of universal scarcity and disaster to terrorize their victims into submission.
Someone has posted this simple animated brief video to Youtube a short time ago. It seems to be quite sound and provides full text as well as audio--and obviously has been “borrowed” by a well-intended person.
To which Wallace Klinck Responded: Monique Teal (Daily Kos) Our “economic viability” is primarily determined, and sabotaged, by a dysfunctional, exploitative and costive financial system which is increasingly non-distributive, except by means of exponentially increasing financial debt, and which stops up the potential abundance of nations. If you prefer to ignore this final and definitive cause of our problems of poverty, crime, war, etc., and instead choose to encourage women to destroy the life within them without humanity, emotion or moral concern, you are hopelessly confused, and culpable if actually aware of the destructive and degrading nature of your actions, which seem to assume that women, along with the rest of humanity, are primarily and inevitably mere economic functionaries serving the powers of Mammon, as embodied in the banking and financial fraternity. You are basing your policies upon fear and avarice rather than upon faith, love and compassion. We live in a world of actual abundance and financial scarcity, and are deceived by the latter to believe in a material scarcity which does not exist except for the inhibiting influence of its false symbolic accountancy representation and determinant, which we call money. An increasing portion of the world’s human “work” is done not for any genuinely or justifiable productive purpose but rather merely to receive financial incomes enabling us to obtain not current but past production. This is called “salvation through works”—and the “works” (defined as expended human energy) become evermore irrelevant, wasteful, idolatrous, enslaving and threatening as technology replaces human energy as a factor of production. The crime is not the marvellous displacement of labour by technology but in our inability, or mindless and stubborn unwillingness, to provide a means for dispersion of the spectacular abundance which technology makes possible. A nation or society which has no Cultural Inheritance, or refuses to recognize, acknowledge and confer it, is doomed for consignment to the scrapheap of history.Major C.H. Journalist Matt Ridley has wisely cautioned his readers to reconsider The Great Plan being pushed in his country and so many other countries, that of closing down coal-fired furnaces and converting to wind farms, solar panels -- electric cars.
The headlines read: “The state risks locking in the wrong technology too early” by Matt Ridley www.rationaloptimist.com- Blog He also asks: How much carbon dioxide goes into an electric car?
Michael Lane in his journal “Triumph of the Past” dealt with C.H. Douglas’ warnings about ‘large-scale planning’ in “Power and Freedom”. People seem to have forgotten the Soviet economic policy was based on such ‘Large-Scale Planning’, ‘Five-Year Plans’, etc., and after seventy years of ‘planning’ was revealed to be an absolute disaster!
In 1946 Douglas presented the direction the socialist government was then taking Britain symbolically as “Wigan,” the hellish coal-town:
“The planning of whole peoples to subordinate their activities (including teaspoons and motor-cars) to one overriding function.” - from Michael Lane’s paper “Power and Freedom” based on the work of C.H. Douglas
You may have heard the expression Nimby, meaning someone who acknowledges the need for big works but “Not In My Back Yard.” The expression is pejorative, as if to say that the sentiment “Not In My Back Yard,” though natural and even universal (there are no “Imbies”), is nevertheless selfish. It is as if to say that we all must be prepared to make such sacrifices when our turn comes. All those fool enough to vote for prodigious works should share the honour of making the sacrifice.
I understand that if I ‘doctored’ the books of a company I would/could be charged with fraud… it is a criminal offence. But what about the ‘doctoring’ of weather details by the Bureau of Meteorology, a taxpayer funded institution? It seems that doesn’t count as a fraud.
Do listen to Alan Jones’ interviewing Dr. Jennifer Marohasy on the ‘doctoring’ of the weather temperature details…. Appalling! http://www.2gb.com/podcast/dr-jennifer-marohasy/
Our sincere thanks to Mr. Paul Fromm for the following news of the passing of fellow Canadian Barbara Kulazska. We learnt of Barbara’s courage and loyalty from Mr. Doug Christie and his wife Keltie when they were in Australia.
On June 15, 2017 we lost lawyer Barbara Kulazska to lung cancer at age 64. Barbara was one of the most important free speech lawyers of her generation. She worked closely with Douglas Christie in Zundel 11, in the Zundelsite case and did fantastic work with Marc Lemire in fighting Richard Warman and getting Sec. 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act (Internet censorship) declared unconstitutional.
“If Industry’s objective is more efficiently carried out by the use of machinery, automation and now robots, than by the use of man-power, then we must expect a progressive increase in unemployment.” That was understood in the early years of the 20th century. What about now in the early years of the 21st century? The issues have become more pressing. Elizabeth Holter published a little book in 1934 explaining in simple terms what she understood as “The ABC of Social Credit”. As she explained in the Introduction, the past few hundred years have seen the transformation of the world. Before James Watt invented the first practical steam engine, the struggle for existence required all man’s time and energies and scarcity and want was never far removed, and always to be reckoned with. And then ‘scarcity in an age of plenty’ loomed large because mankind had not grasped the dramatic changes that had taken place and his systems/institutions were based on policies originating in an earlier age.
But we are now in the early part of the 21st century and with the Robotic Revolution and the growing Precariat (precarious unemployed and ever-growing personal and national debt)) there are those who are putting forward ideas on how to provide a Basic Income, and/or Positive Money for all citizens.
Watched the videos on the Institute of Public Affairs website by Dr. Bella on Australia’s The British Heritage of our Freedoms. The videos are well worth watching. Found here… https://ipa.org.au/heritage-of-our-freedoms
The video “Australia’s own Tea Party Revolution” was of great interest to me. It dealt with the role of a group of Chartists “on the Victorian gold fields in the 1850s and the demands they made following the Eureka Stockade…”Regular readers and supporters of ALoR journals and website would be very familiar with such discussions as Magna Carta; The Rule of Law; English (Common) Law; etc., so I thought I should search through The Social Crediter to see what C.H. Douglas had to say about the Chartists. The following is what I found in The Social Crediter, Vol.7, No.2, 31st January 1942Writing of Karl Marx, Major Douglas quotes historian Nesta Webster:
The following passage on the Fabian Manifesto of 1893 is from English Saga by Arthur Bryant:
“.... By attacking the private ownership of property they [the socialists] struck unconsciously at the foundation on which in the historic policy of England’s individual liberty had always rested. Because the privilege of ownership had ceased to be widespread as in the past and had become restricted to the few, they supposed that its destruction would extend to the freedom of many.
Sir,The difference of opinion between H. E. Cardinal Villeneuve and the social crediters of Quebec revealed in the Montreal journal vers Demain presents an opportunity not to be missed. There are two passages in Quadragesimo Anno, the great encyclical on the Reconstruction of the Social Order issued by the late Pope Pius XI, which are of great importance in dealing with uninformed criticism from members of the Catholic Church.
From paragraph 75 of the Latin version, the English translation reads,
It is tragic to observe society again being swept up in the false and fabricated Left-Right dialectic as the Banking Fraternity continues to dominate from its safe abode hidden above the storm--centralizing both wealth and power all the while in its megalomaniacal drive for World Dominion.
Social Credit exposed this scam in the early part of the last century and provided the appropriate recommendations to eliminate the prevailing system of continuing and exponentially expanding financial debt. Communism/socialism and fascism both build up from the State rather than from the individual.
Dr Finkel, grandly titled as “Australia’s Chief Scientist”, was paid by tax payers to produce:“A Review into the Future Security of the National Electricity Market”.This report has been studied and is rated “FAIL”.
It Fails in Science It Fails Electricity Consumers It Fails Australia But Green Energy Promotors are Delighted.
The Supreme State, Planning and Scarcity: On Target 25 July 2014
“We are at the present time unquestionably under the domination of a financial system, which rules us. It rules us in our most basic necessities; the necessity for bed, board and clothes, and the other things that go to make up the standard of living. But we do not want to transfer that domination from, let us say, what we can call the banking system under another name to something we call the State. The great danger at the present time is not that the present financial system will persist ... but that under the confusion that will exist as a result of the crises caused by the breakdown of the financial system, an even greater tyranny may be put over on you as in the cases of many countries at the present time, and which is in active progress in still more countries even as I speak. That is the danger, and you must keep in your minds, to avoid that danger, some clear objective, and that objective, the proper relationship of the individual to the group, is in my opinion, the relationship and objective to which we want to strive….” - - From a speech by Major C.H. Douglas at Calgary, Alberta, Canada, April, 1934. https://alor.org/Library/ThoughtsofDouglas.htm
So, the news has filtered down to the UK’s newspaper The Independent that Canada is considering a Basic Income for the nation’s ‘precariats’. Paid for out of taxation of course – you know, tax the rich to pay the poor - not created by a National Credit Office and issued debt free, as proposed by Social Credit concepts.
“Unlike its neighbour the United States, Canada projects an image of peace, plenty and progressive policies. But there’s a quiet rumble across the North American country. While the rest of the world is in love with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, his popularity ratings at home are down 9 per cent on last year. Income inequality is acute and unemployment is still stubbornly high. What new work that is being created in Canada’s economy is precarious and part-time. Wage rises are being eaten away at by inflation since the financial crisis and millions of jobs are at risk from automation.
