We have followed David Pascoe’s Facebook page for quite a while and think this issue he raises would be of great interest to our Queensland readers as a State election is now underway.
QUEENSLAND ELECTION: ALAN JONES MAKES A STAND TO SAVE ACLAND - AND WE STAND BESIDE HIM:
Pauline Hanson has promised in writing to stop New Hope’s Stage Three expansion at Ackland and Alan Jones will be supporting One Nation. Acland is not only his home town - this is a dirty deal full of grubby backroom donations between mining billionaires and politicians. The farmers of Acland are our friends and neighbours. We have fought beside them for the last six and half years and we will not be walking away now. We believe in protecting our precious farming land and our underground water supplies.
We also believe in the rule of law. The Land Court voted 100% to reject the Stage Three expansion - and now the leaders of both major parties are publicly stating that they will overturn the Land Court ruling in order to benefit the Mongrels in Suits - the big boys behind the scenes with their grubby donations. These political promises to simply ignore the ruling of the courts is not good government. This is the first crooked step on the road to anarchy.
This Mine has absolutely NO royalty benefit to the people of Queensland. There will be no new hospitals, no universities, no schools, no roads, no railways or dams coming out of this project. This is purely about corporate greed and union domination of political parties. Like Alan Jones, we have considered this decision to support One Nation with our hearts and our conscience. We love our country and we love our state, and we have made the decision that what is best for Queensland must always come first.
BUT... WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY ‘THE RULE OF LAW’ DAVID? WHOSE LAW? WHICH LAW?
It would be worth your while in looking at what is happening in Canada and the move for COMPELLED SPEECH on the post below.
