Collapse of Global Warming Deception Triggers Variety of Bailouts and RevisionismWatts Up With That?Guest Blogger /  October 15, 2017Guest opinion: Dr. Tim Ball

We will see an increasing number of people changing their positions on global warming as the global warming ship sinks. It will take various forms including; articles appearing that subtly shift previously held positions; reevaluation of data; or finding new evidence that allows a change and perhaps worst of all those who say they knew the science was wrong all along but did not consider it important to speak out; dredging up a sentence or two from their writings that they claim showed they knew.  The level of inventiveness will astonish as rats desert the sinking ship.

Nenshi can’t hide behind outsider status; Calgary mayor now represents establishment

National Post (2017-10-13) Canada Calgary Mayor Naheed Nenshi came to power as a reformer, but has done very little achieving, writes Jen Gerson:

Lauded abroad and beloved across the country, Calgary’s mayor Naheed Nenshi is facing the unthinkable: he may be about to lose an election. At first Calgary’s Oct. 16 municipal election promised to be a predictable affair, with the guy once proclaimed Canada’s most popular mayor facing off against an unpromising slate of low-profile challengers. Yet several Mainstreet Research poll have shown mayoral contender Bill Smith with a double-digit lead. And while some have questioned the polls’ methodology, there is evidence to suggest that this race is far tighter than anyone anticipated, least of all Nenshi.

Same-sex ‘marriage’ is causing a schism among Catholics in Australia

Many Australians, including Bishops, do not appear to be aware that while Christians are being bullied and punished now for opposing SSM, it will be immeasurably worse if this legislation is passed. This is our last opportunity to save our freedom of religion! The heterosexual nature of marriage is not only a religious concept, but has been accepted for millennia in all cultures, secular and religious alike. It is simply a matter of biology and human reason.

Many homosexuals oppose the “gay lobby” and support the rights of children to know and be loved by their own natural parents: https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/homosexual-activists-aim-to-destroy-the-family-impose-totalitarianism-gay-p     The silence and timid platitudes apparent in the Church is a matter of grave concern for Australian Catholics, and Christians generally.

Greens Have a Fat Carbon Footprint

Guest essay by Eric Worrall     Willie Soon – a group of Cambridge Conservation Scientists have discovered that greens enjoy the same carbon belching perks as the rest of us, and rarely purchase carbon offsets or make other personal sacrifices such as reducing meat consumption.

Wallace,      Times were tough when I was a kid. I was in elementary school when my dad lost his job. Then my parents got divorced. My mom struggled to take care of us kids on her own. For three years, we lived in an abandoned gas station without running water or electricity. Sometimes we didn’t have enough food to eat, but we got by thanks to help from family, church, and even the government.

Those were tough times, but I knew it could be different. I never thought being homeless was going to stop me from being who I wanted to be. My parents taught me that if you work really hard, you can make it. I worked really hard, but I still needed a little help. When I went off to college, I knew I wanted to help other people get their shot at the American dream, because that dream came true for me.

Dear Prof. Tombe,     Please note that the following post was made today to the Montreal Gazette:Why the time is ripe for a conservative Alberta premier to shake up Confederationhttp://montrealgazette.com/news/politics/why-the-time-is-ripe-for-a-conservative-alberta-premier-to-shake-up-confederation/wcm/1e1d34ec-c614-4451-8eca-ea4b351ab919

“Equalization payments are a mechanism whereby the increasingly inadequate national financial income is shared sufficiently to provide the financial powers adequate assurance that they will not become the target of regional and/or national insurrection. Social welfare financed by taxation falls into this category. It removes pressure from an essentially corrupt, exploitative and dysfunctional financial system by ensuring that the relatively few crumbs which are allowed society are sufficiently spread to prevent outright rampant deprivation and starvation with ensuing open rebellion. State encouraged ‘charity’ (voluntary ‘taxation’) serves a similar function.

Universal basic income may counter automationPublished: 3:23 pm, Sunday, 24 September 2017http://www.skynews.com.au/tech/2017/09/24/universal-basic-income-may-counter-automation.html     Losing your job to a robot might not necessarily be all doom and gloom if governments revolutionise the way we can earn a crust. That’s the hope of social policy academic Professor Greg Marston, who wants Australia to join other nations in debating the merits of introducing a universal basic income to help with an expected surge in unemployment that the rise of robots may bring.

The University of Queensland academic and other proponents of the UBI, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and Tesla’s Elon Musk, argue governments need policies that provide an economic floor for people who lose their jobs or are forced to work fewer hours as a result of greater automation.Governments would pay all adults a basic salary of about $20,000 to cover their basic bills, but there would be no requirement to work.

It’s Not Just Embattled Australians

Whether it is gay marriage, trangenderism, health care, or the these appalling national anthem protests, phase one of the left’s fascist propaganda campaign always begins in this way… Hey, just let us do our thing. We are not bothering you. No one is hurting you. We are just expressing ourselves. What do you care? Let us live our lives.Again and again, though, history informs us that this is nothing more than a ruse, a con, a hustle, a lie—because it never, ever ends there.

Major Bank to Governments: Go on, Give us your Carbon Tax Money… Eric Worrall

Banks have become remarkably coy about demanding carbon tax cash, in return for support for climate “investment”, but at least one major bank wanted to make sure readers got the hint.

Leaving aside that the energy debate in Australia is almost entirely a political one, there is another front, beyond politics and the economics of risk, for would-be financiers.    Global regulators of and investors in the financial services sector, the first port of call for funding or organising the funding of energy generation and distribution, have very clear views on the carbon economy.

This is what we can expect in Australia if same-sex “marriage” is legalised

The Trump administration just delivered a gut shot to the Homosexual Lobby and their radical anti-Christian Agenda. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) sided with baker Jack Phillips in the U.S. Supreme Court case, Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission. You see, Jack Phillips, owner of Masterpiece Cakeshop, refused to bake a cake for a homosexual “wedding” and immediately faced legal action.

Mr. Phillips was sentenced to attend “sensitivity training” re-education class, threatened with fines and was forced to stop baking wedding cakes.Unfortunately, cases like this are becoming a trend.
